Job opportunities and basic skills
New session begins February 23rd. Enroll today!
Everyone needs to read to get a job or advance in a current job. Our FREE, online JOBS program teaches essential skills for employment such as writing effective resumes and cover letters, applying for jobs online, and interview skills.
We’ve updated the curriculum to specifically address the current climate of employment; for example, focusing on applying for unemployment and navigating the system, and what kinds of jobs to expect during and after COVID-19.
JOBS sessions are 11 weeks, over WebEx. Each class features an interactive presentation with career specialists from the KLC, MI Works!, and Goodwill Industries.
Tuesdays, starting February 23rd, 6:00 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.
Wednesdays, starting February 24th, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.
All are welcome! To register, call Rose at (269) 849-9396 or click “Register today” below to email her.
