Job opportunities and basic skills
Everyone needs to read to get a job or advance in a current job. Our free JOBS program teaches essential skills for employment such as writing effective resumes and cover letters, applying for jobs online, and interview skills.
We’ve updated the curriculum to specifically address current employment needs such as careers in early childhood education where you can help children and families thrive.
JOBS sessions are 6 weeks, in-person in the Reading Center at Goodwill or online.
Each class features an interactive presentation with career specialists from the KLC, MI Works!, and Goodwill Industries.
