TUtor training

Welcome tutor trainees!

This is the training the KLC requires before tutors can be matched with a learner. In the Orientation, you will learn about the KLC’s history, programs, services, learners, and your critical role as a volunteer tutor. The full process includes the orientation, and training sessions where you will gain all the tools and knowledge to begin tutoring online or in-person. We focus on hybrid learning, blended learning, and using the Laubach and Challenger series.

Tutor training is held virtually via WebEx. You will receive training materials and paperwork in the mail.
